Financial Education for School Children

Well Being Shiksha Foundation conducted a series of Financial Well Being workshops for more than 1000 students of Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Ambedkar Nagar  (10th April 2024), Sarvodaya Senior Secondary Vidhalaya Qutab, Mehrauli (20th April 2024) and Government Public Senior Secondary School for Girls (1st May 2024)

The series of Financial Awareness sessions were conducted by Well Being Shiksha Foundation to nudge Government school students of class XI and XII to start saving money from a young age. Dr. Neelam Tandon made them aware about small investment schemes. Neelam Tandon and Dr. Deepak Tandon helped young students to understand the impact of inflation on savings and returns and the importance of financial planning to gain benefits of compounding. It was so nice to see young school students were so inquisitive to know about investments and how to define financial goals.
